The idea of the Academy is to provide players a training environment where they can realize their goals of improving as a "Complete Baseball Player." Top level training along with advanced methods, allows a young player's potential growth in areas that normal team training does not allow. This concept is about the player's development in all facets of the game. Whether you are a beginner or advanced player, you will receive hands on, intense baseball training. Our goal at the Championship Baseball Academy is to offer an advanced level of instruction in a safe, controlled, fun environment that will enhance the player's opportunity to reach his/her maximum potential.

Why the Future Flames Advanced Skills Camp?

The Future Flames camp will feature the UIC Coaching Staff, which has led the Flames to 4 NCAA tournament appearances. In addition, our camp staff will include current UIC players and former Flames now in professional baseball. This camp is for the player who truly is seeking an opportunity to improve, prepare, and be recognized. Therefore, this camp has limited enrollment, to help insure each player gets the best instruction possible. Our goal is to give you the tools to improve your skill level, knowledge, confidence and game!

All camps and/or clinics will have a student to coach ratio no more than 8:1. Therefore, Championship Baseball Academy will limit enrollment to all camps to insure each camper will get the best possible individual instruction.

Facilities And Directions

UIC has the best baseball facilities in the midwest. Such facilities include our $12.5 million Curtis Granderson Stadium, the newly renovated Physical Education Building which boasts a 45,000 sq. ft. fully turfed infield and training area that is fully netted as well as our Flames Indoor Offensive Training Facility.

The Future Flames Camp will be held outside at the Curtis Granderson Stadium just south the Physical Education Building (PEB) which is located at 901 West Roosevelt Road, Chicago IL 60608. If the weather does not cooperate, we will still have camp indoors inside PEB on the new turf field.
