CHICAGO - The University of Illinois at Chicago will recognize its 2003 Hall of Fame Inductees on Friday, February 21st with a dinner and awards ceremony at the Hyatt Regency, McCormick Place as a part of UIC's homecoming week.
This year's inductees include: Joanne McCarthy (1997, Women's Basketball); Dan Smith (1982, Men's Gymnastics), Brett Wilson (1995, Men's Swimming and Diving); Colin Chin (Hockey); Debbie Obosla (1987, Volleyball); Robert Beck (1979, Football); Dennis Niezgoda (1970, Baseball) and Edward Savers (1973, Football).
Saturday will provide the UIC men's basketball squad a chance to display its talents on the national level, as they will host Bowling Green as a part of ESPN's Bracket Buster at 4:00 p.m. at the UIC Pavilion.
