Chicago, Ill. - The University of Illinois at Chicago Dancing Flames and Cheerleading teams have announced dates of tryouts for the upcoming 2002-2003 seasons.

Tryouts for the UIC Dancing Flames will be held on April 9th (5:30 P.M.) and April 10th (6:00 P.M.) in the Flames Athletic Center. For more information call (312) 355-1330.

Competitive Cheer Squad tryouts begin April 15th at 6:00 PM in the Physical Education Building. Attendance is mandatory. Tryouts will continue on April 16th (8:00 P.M.) and will conclude on April 17th at 6:00 P.M.

Attire for cheer tryouts should consist of work out clothes. Please bring cheer shoes or flat surface shoes. * Girls: Tank top and shorts are preferred.
