UIC Places 36 Student-Athletes On The Horizon League Academic Honor Roll

Chicago, Ill. - The University of Illinois at Chicago was represented by 36 student-athletes as the Horizon League announced its academic honor roll for the 2002-03 season.

The Horizon League honor roll is awarded to candidates who must meet three criteria in order to qualify: 1) participate in at least one of the League's 19 sports; 2) must have completed three semesters (four quarters on the quarter system) as a full-time student at the same member institution; and 3) must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.25 (on a 4.0 scale) as of June 20, 2003.

All in all, 556 Horizon League athletes were named to the academic honor roll.

Men's Basketball: Jonathan Schneiderman

Men's Cross Country: Rich Daubert, Mikhail Davidyan, Danny Smith

Softball: Megan Boyle
