Former Mob Boss Michael Franzese To Speak At UIC About The Troubles Of Gambling

Chicago, Ill. - Former mob boss Michael Franzese, along with a member of the NCAA Enforcement staff, will conduct a seminar presenting the dangers of gambling to athletes and faculty to the University of Illinois at Chicago student-athletes and staff on Wednesday, October 1st at 6:30 p.m. in the Science and Engineering South Building, located at 845 W. Taylor Street.

"This seminar continues our commitment to UIC student-athletes in the life-skills area, promoting good citizenship after their collegiate experience," UIC Associate Athletic Director Denny Wills said.

Franzese, has given seminars for organizations such as the National Basketball Association, Major League Baseball and several colleges throughout the country.
