Dr. Sylvia Furner
-introduced herself as the Academic Athletic Representative. She informed SAAC that if anyone has problems with missing tests or quizzes they should contact her. Dr. Furner can be reached by email at SEFurner@uic.edu or by phone 312-996-5013 or 996-9489.
Bill Bavirsha
-requested that if problems arise on your teams athletic facilities, that you contact him to let him know.
Blood Drive
-The blood drive was a huge hit for SAAC. Thirty student athletes and coaches donated. Thank you to everyone and those who attempted but were turned away.
Mentors in Violence Prevention Program (MVP)
On Wednesday, October 30 training teams will be meeting at three separate times for student athletes to learn about sexual assault.
- 4:00-5:30 Student-Athlete Training Block I
- 6:00-7:30 Student-Athlete Training Block II
- 8:00-9:30 Student-Athlete Training Block III (if necessary)
