New Business:

  • Award for Nicole Derouin
  • Ambassador Nominations - ask Stephanie for questions if interested and she will give you papers
  • Newman Student Organization Candy Drive - must have all money/candy to Port by Oct 23rd.
  • Midnight Madness - interactive games, rented sumo outfits, shuttle buses start at 9:45 - 1:45

    Gambling Seminar:

  • Comments, questions, evaluation forms
  • If a student-athlete was not there then you are REQUIRED to watch the video or else Denny Wills will track you down
  • The video is at the Port Center, it is an hour and 10 minutes long
  • Denny has a list of all the student-athletes who did not show up

    Dates for home competition- all athlete attendance:

  • For those who have not turned their teams dates in, we need them in by the next SAAC meeting-Nov. 5th
  • If any dates or times change please notify Corey Steven
  • Women's Volleyball - Oct. 17th @7:00 pm

  • Women's Tennis - April 10th, @ 2:00 pm

    I-cards:

  • Carry your I-cards at all times
  • Make sure you bring your I-cards to get back into the building
  • If there are any problems with them, please let Bill know
  • FAC is open from 9 am to 6 pm w/o ID and from 6 am to 10 pm with your ID
  • Go to Bill for ideas or improvements to the facilities and FAC

    Old Business:

  • Alumni Weekend - Baseball, Softball, and Volleyball
  • The cookout will start at 12:00 pm and stick around to watch the events and mingle with spectators. Mr. LeCrone will be speaking from the baseball field at 12:30 pm.
  • Coaches will give out bracelets for food, you must have a wristband to eat. Parents are invited
  • Shoe Bin and Toiletries - keep donating
  • 20 hour rule and day off rule- Can only be training six days a week for a total of 20 hours. Weight lifting is included.
  • If the Port Center has to close early for any reason then student will only need to complete 4 hours that week. This will also apply if you have competition that week.
  • Keep Nov 22nd on your calendar open, the Chris Zorich activity is that day. All student-athletes MUST attend.
