  • Have these ideas ready for the next SAAC meeting,

    Halloween Candy and Cash

  • The Smyth school was very thankful for our donations. Thanks to all who participated.

    Chris Zorich

    Student-Athlete Support Day

  • We need to stick by this goal and remind our teammates about a team's support day.
  • Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Support Day is on November 15th, 2003.

    New Business:

  • November 25th is the Men's Basketball first home game, please come out to support our team
  • The Greece 2004 Olympic games - volunteering
  • Jim - the laundry is often wet or smelly
  • Racquetball room gets too hot, hard to breath
  • The outside doors of gymnastics, all 3 doors are not locked.

    Denny's Notes:

  • Notify your teammates about the Avery Brundage scholarship available; must apply online. If have any questions, contact Molly Smith.
  • There are still athletes who have not viewed the gambling video. If you don't want it, you won't receive your award at the end of the year.
  • Priority registration- must register online Wednesday through Friday (Nov. 11 - 13).
  • Excused Absence forms- make sure you give them to your teacher, it is very important.
  • SAAC members need to ask Jim Schmidt to attend out meetings. He would like to come, but we should invite him.
  • Alcohol level is getting a bit out of hand. Starting 2nd semester we will start a program for alcohol. All freshmen will go through some kind of alcohol program. It is a safety issue, and the administration doesn't want the athletes to be put in a jeopardizing situation. As leaders of your team, send strong messages to your teammates. There will be more information to come.
  • Make sure you tell your teammates about what goes on in SAAC.
