Laura White was named Assistant Director of Communications in September 2013 following a two-year stint as UIC's Athletic Communications Assistant.
Prior to joing the Flames, White was the Athletic Communications Assistant at DePaul from 2010-11, during which time she contributed toward the game-day management of seven varsity sports, edited, designed and wrote game-day programs, releases and game notes, and served as a secondary contact for the men's and women's tennis teams.
In August 2010, White began a news internship at Comcast SportsNet Chicago, where she researched material for on-air shows, logged and transcribed sports games, as well as player and coach interviews, and shawdowed and participated in newsroom positions, including field production of Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bulls game coverage.
White graduated in 2011 from DePaul with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising, in addition to a double major in Communications and Media.
