SAAC and the Board positions is an excellent opportunity to learn hands-on, tangible leadership skills that can be applied to real-world and professional settings. The Executive Board positions have titles and duties that mirror professional career paths in the marketplace. This is to ensure that the skills and time spent is directly applicable to professional development. If executed properly, student-athletes should grow and build a skill set that is useful and powerful both on a resume and in practical professional settings.
