Sexual Harassment/Misconduct Policy
When You Are Ready (PDF)
The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics (DIA) fully supports the UIC Office of Access and Equity Sexual Misconduct Policy as it refers to unwanted or unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature that is committed based on an individual’s sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
The Office of Access and Equity (OAE) serves as UIC’s Title IX Coordinator and is responsible for and authorized to coordinate the University’s efforts to comply with and carry out its responsibilities under Title IX. OAE also oversees the University’s response to all reports and complaints of sexual misconduct and Title IX Sexual Harassment and is available to assistant Students, Faculty, Visitors and Staff with all matters related to UIC’s sexual harassment and discrimination policy, local, state and federal regulations.
