In 2010, Lindsey Lococo was named the Spirit Coordinator and head coach of the UIC Dancing Flames. She is a graduate of UIC and received here B.S in Movement Sciences in 2006.
Her choreography and dancing experience within the athletics industry includes stints with the Chicago Storm, Storm Chasers Dance Team, Rockford Rampage, Crash Dancers, Rock River Raptors, Dynamites Dancers, McHenry County Pirates and the Swashbuckler Cheerleaders and 3 years with game-day promotions for the Chicago Fire Soccer club (MLS).
Lococo’s other professional experiences include appearances on NBC 5, ABC 7, WGN and FOX 32, Dance Chicago, Carnival Choreographer’s Ball-Chicago, Chris Brown’s Dance Down, and the Sprite Remix tour featuring The Roots & N.E.R.D., while also making several appearances as a featured dancer on “Oprah”, including the 24th Season Premiere featuring the Black Eyed Peas,"and the "Country Stars Show” featuring Carrie Underwood and Kenny Chesney. She was previously seen performing with Beyoncé for the Oprah Farewell Spectacular, opening for Carly Rae Jepson and industrials for Discover Financial Services. Through dance, Lindsey had had the opportunity to travel internationally to India for the IPL Cricket Championships and most recently in 2015 to China during the Baoshan International Arts Festival.
She is a former dancer and captain of the UIC Dancing Flames and Hip Hop Connxion - Elite, dancer for Design Dance Company and Work In Progress. Lindsey was a UDA staff member and judge for the organization. Her choreography has won awards locally and nationally with Starpower Nationals, UDA-High School and College Nationals, TDI, IDTA, IHSA ad IHSDTA. She is currently an dance official for IHSA dance and the former President of the Alliance of Illinois Dance Adjudicators.
Lindsey and her husband, Joseph, reside in Aurora with their son Greyson.
