AS A FRESHMAN (2019): Competed on still rings in every meet...surpassed 12.000 twice, and had only one score lower than 11.300...achieved a season high 12.200 on rings against Minnesota and Nebraska...represented UIC on rings at the ECAC Championships...made one appearance on pommel horse.

PREP/PERSONAL: Named Gymnast of the Year twice during his high school career...team captain and academic All-American...member of the National Honor Society...favorite event is still rings...was born in Guatemala...son of Paul Hollis and Rebecca Brandau...major is undeclared.
