AS A FRESHMAN (2019): Brought high-flying releases and big skills to UIC's high bar squad...completed the all-around in the season's first two meets before concentrating on vault, parallel bars, and high bar...had a season high 13.800 on vault against Minnesota and Nebraska...matched that score at the ECAC Championships...scored over 12.000 on high bar four times...peaked with a score of 12.750 at conference, tying for 10th as UIC's highest finisher...paced the Flames on high bar four additional times...took fourth on high bar against Springfield and Penn State, and third against William & Mary.

PREP/PERSONAL: Was the 2018 SCMGA state high bar champion...was a team captain...made the Principal's List...favorite event is the high bar...son of Booker and Lenora Burney...majoring in pre-med.
