AS A SENIOR (2019-20): Horizon League All-Academic Team...Placed fourth in the 200 fly in the season opener at Northwestern...swam the 50 free and 100 fly against Michigan State...dropped several seconds off his 200 fly time against Oakland, and also set a then-season best time in the 100 fly...continued to hold down a spot in both fly races against Milwaukee...scored points for the Flames in the 100 fly on both days, as well as the 200 and 50 fly, in the two-day tri-meet with Cleveland State and IUPUI...had season best times of 55.22 in the 100 fly, and 2:08.35 in the 200 fly.

AS A JUNIOR (2018-19): Took 12th place in his first official swim of the season, a 100 back event against Northwestern and Chicago...swam exhibition races in two of the first three meets, before contributing points in conference meets against Oakland and Milwaukee...had season best times in the 100 fly (55.40) and 200 fly (2:14.23) at the TYR Invitational at Northwestern.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2017-18): Horizon League All-Academic Team selection...Began the season with a ninth place finish in the 200 fly (2:12.57) against Green Bay and Valparaiso...took 11th in the 100 back (:59.95) against Northwestern, Rutgers, and Chicago...was a top-8 finisher in the 200 fly against Milwaukee, and repeated the feat against Oakland...added a top-8 finish in the 100 fly (:57.33) against the Golden Grizzlies...improved his times in the 200 fly, 100 fly, and 100 back; and also competed in the 50 free and 50 fly at the TYR Invitational...finished ninth in the 100 fly against Cleveland State.

AS A FRESHMAN (2016-17): Placed fourteenth in the 100 back (57.05) and the 100 fly (56.34) at the triple dual with Olivet-Nazarene, Northwestern and the University of Chicago (Oct. 22)…captured a seventh place finish in both the 100 back (57.91) and 100 fly (55.96) against Boston College (Oct. 28)…grabbed thirteenth in the 200 medley relay (1:41.35) and the 200 fly (2:06.00), and finished in fifteenth in the 100 fly (54.89) versus Oakland, Green Bay and Wright State (Nov. 4-5)…took eighth place in the 200 fly (2:09.90) and seventh in the 100 back (59.32) as well in the 100 fly (56.02) at Milwaukee (Nov. 12)…earned twenty-fourth in the 50 back (25.96), thirty-first in the 200 back (2:03.36), thirty-sixth in the 200 fly (2:03.41) and thirty-ninth in the 100 fly (54.31) at Northwestern’s TYR Invitational (Nov. 18-20)…notched a sixth place finish in the 100 fly (55.44) and seventh in the 200 fly (2:05.38) against Cleveland State (Jan. 14)…claimed seventh place in the 200 medley relay (1:38.79), ninth in the 200 free relay (1:31.67), twelfth in both the 100 fly (56.06) and the 100 back (1:00.00) and finished fifteenth in the 200 fly (2:08.03) at the Flames Invitational (Jan. 20-21)…placed twenty-second in the 100 fly (53.33) and the 100 back (55.30) and finished twenty-third in the 200 fly (2:04.33) at the Horizon League Championships (Feb. 22-25).

PREP AND PERSONAL: Lettered in swimming for two seasons at Newton (Iowa) ... reached state during both years of competition ... earned the distinction of Most Outstanding Swimmer twice ... served as the top swimmer in the freestyle, fly and back ... set school records in the 100 back, 200 medley relay, 200 free relay and and 400 free relay ... son of Orville and Kim Bunker ... currently enrolled as a Computer Engineering major.
