2005 ALL-HORIZON LEAGUE FIRST TEAM
2005-06: Team[apos]s top finisher in the 100 back finals at the Horizon League Championships, finishing in 52.18 to take fifth place...helped 200 free relay squad earn second place (1:21.39) and All-Horizon League Second Team honors at the league meet...led off school record-setting 400 medley relay (3:22.77) at the league finals...finished the league 100 free finals in 48.05...swam a runner-up 22.17 in the 50 free versus Butler...turned in a third-place 21.96 in the 50 free against Ball State...posted a 100 back time of 54.25 at the Bill Ritter Invitational...turned in a 22.10 in the 50 free and a 48.26 in the 100 free against Iowa.
2004-05: All-Horizon League First Team honoree as second leg of league record-setting 200 free relay...also part of league[apos]s second-place 400 free relay team that set new school record and earned All-League Second Team accolades...set new UIC record in 100 backstroke with a 51.66 at the league finals...finished fourth in the league in the 100 back...won 100 back versus Eastern Illinois with a 53.78...turned in 53.09 to win 100 back against UW-Milwaukee...placed second in both the 50 free (21.53) and 100 free (47.69) against Butler and Lindenwood...runner-up in 50 free (22.18) against Western Illinois...won 100 free versus Valparaiso with a 48.32...helped UIC win 200 and 400 freestyle relays at Bill Ritter Invitational...placed second in the 100 backstroke against Cleveland State with a 52.92.
2003-04: Won 100 backstroke event in 54.12 in season-opening win at Eastern Illinois...won 50-yard freestyle against Wright State, swimming a 21.93...took first in 100 backstroke vs. Butler with a 54.08...owned team[apos]s second-best times in both the 100 (54.08) and 200 (2:00.86) backstroke events...UIC[apos]s best 100 free finisher against Northwestern with a 48.74, the team[apos]s fourth-best season time...was held out of majority of Horizon League Championships due to the flu.
2002-03: Turned in a then-career best of 21.49 in the 50 freestyle at the Horizon League Championships...50 free time was the third-best time on the team for the entire season...held UIC[apos]s best 400-yard IM time on the year, swimming a 4:24.06 against Western Illinois...took first in the 100 backstroke against Valpo, racing to a 54.54...swam a then-career best 53.10 in the 100 backstroke at the league meet...set team season-best in 200 backstroke with a 1:57.72, the only Flame to crack under two minutes.
Prep/Personal: Three-year letterwinner for Lockport Township...part of sectional title-winning team in 2001...all-conference and all-area swimmer...set the Porters[apos] 200-yard freestyle record and part of two school-best relay teams...born March 24, 1984...son of William and Mary Hare...major is biology.
