Mike Tubb enters into his fifth season as the men's and women's swimming & diving assistant coach after joining the Flames in Aug. 2014.

Tubb was a letterwinner for Rider from 2007-12 and helped lead the Broncs to their first Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship since 2004 while serving as the team's captain in his final two seasons. Tubb holds place in the record book with the fifth-best time in the 100 breast and sixth-best time in the 200 breast, while he is a member of the 200 and 400 medley relay record-holding teams.

After graduating from Rider, Tubb began his coaching career at Division III Rowan, where he served as the assistant coach. Tubb helped RU to a second-place finish in the New Jersey Athletic Conference and a fourth-place finish at the Metropolitan Swimming Championships.

Tubb returned to Rider as the team's volunteer assistant coach for the 2013-14 season, when the men's team won its third-consecutive MAAC Championship and the women's team collected a second-place finish for the fourth year in a row.

Tubb received his bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Social Studies in addition to his master's degree in Education Administration from Rider.
