AS A SENIOR (2019-20): Horizon League Champion, 200 Fly...Opened the season with a third place finish in the 200 fly and a fourth place swim in the 1000 free at Northwestern...claimed third in the 1000 and the 100 fly against Michigan State...won the 200 fly in the dual meet with Oakland, and claimed fourth in the 500 free...won the 200 fly again, and was second in the 500, against Milwaukee...placed in the top seven in the 200 fly and the 1650 at the House of Champions...had two wins, in the 1650 and the 200 fly, against Cleveland State and IUPUI...also finished second in the 1000 and third in the 500 twice at that two-day meet...won the 200 fly, was third in the 1000, and fourth in the 500, against Green Bay...claimed his fifth and final regular season win in the 200 fly, and also placed second in the 500, in the finale against UChicago and Wabash...defended his Horizon League championship in the 200 fly, finishing in a personal record 1:45.82 in the prelims...finished third in the 1650 and sixth in the 500 at conference...qualified for the US Open in the 400 and 1500 free and the 200 fly.

AS A JUNIOR (2018-19): Horizon League Champion, 500 Free...Horizon League Champion, 200 Fly...won first place in the 200 fly five times during the regular season, and in both the prelims and finals at the conference meet...finished fourth or better in the 500 in every dual meet...won the 200 fly and was fourth in the 500 free against Michigan State...was top-five in three events against Northwestern and Chicago...won the 1000 free against Olivet Nazarene...was a double winner against Oakland, claiming first in the 200 fly and 500 free...nearly repeated that feat against Milwaukee, but took second in the 500 free...was third in the 200 fly at the TYR Invitational, where he placed 9th in the 1650 and 11th in the 500...took first yet again in the 200 fly against Green Bay, and was third in the 500 free...set two personal records at the Horizon League Championships...had the fastest time in preliminaries, and went on to win the championship, in both the 500 free and 200 fly.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2017-18): Horizon League Champion, 1650 Free...Began his Flames career with a second place finish in the 1000 free (9:52.45) against Green Bay and Valparaiso...took fifth in the 200 fly (1:59.17) and sixth in the 400 IM (4:18.64) in that meet...was seventh in his first 500 free race (4:48.95) at Northwestern with Chicago, and shaved over three seconds off his 200 fly time...joined the 400 free relay team...won the 200 fly (1:54.11) against Milwaukee, and took sixth in the 500 (4:49.68)...grabbed his second victory in the 200 fly (1:51.61) against Oakland...maintained his consistency in the 500 with a seventh place finish...had top-6 finishes in the 1650 free (15:55.30) and 200 fly (1:49.01) at the TYR Invitational, where he was also top-12 in the 500 free...finished third on day 1 (1:53.79) and second on day 2 (1:52.59) in the 200 fly against Cleveland State and IUPUI...was top-6 in the 500 and 1000...broke the UIC school record in the 1650 free (15:31.85) in winning the Horizon League championship...also had podium finishes in the 200 fly (4th, 1:47.05) and 400 IM (5th, 3:58.17).

AS A FRESHMAN (2016-17 at North Dakota): Took second in the 500 and 1000 free against St. Cloud State on Oct. 7...swam five events against Northern Colorado and South Dakota on Oct. 14-15, achieving two second place finishes and a third...was third in the 100 and 500 free against Minnesota Nov. 4...took home four second place finishes against South Dakota Jan. 13...placed second in the 500 and 1000 free, and third in the 200 fly against South Dakota State Jan. 28...swam four events at the WAC Championships...placed in the top 16 in the 500 and 1650...set a personal best in the 500 (4:31.87) at the conference meet.

PREP/PERSONAL: Won two district championships and was in the top five at state for two years at U.S. Grant High School...set the school record in the 500 free...son of John and Kim Hutchinson...enrolled as a mechanical engineering major.
