AS A FRESHMAN (2020-21): Took third in the 200 IM and fourth in the 200 breast in the season-opening meet against Milwaukee...had twin sixth-place finishes in the 100 and 200 breast against Cleveland State, with an additional seventh place showing in the 200 IM...was third in the 100 breast and fifth in the 200 breast in the rematch with Milwaukee...set season bests in the 100 breast and 200 IM at the Horizon League Championships, and also swam the 200 breast.

PREP/PERSONAL: Named an All-State and All-Conference swimmer...part of the team record 200 medley relay...biggest thrill was being part of the team that took first place in the state in three events...has a brother and sister who both swam collegiately...was also on his high school's water polo team...son of Brad and Lorena Johnson...majoring in Computer Science.
