* Went 2-1 in singles play at the River Forest Collegiate Invitational; also won one doubles match.
* Qualified for ITA Regionals in singles play; won his consolation match after an epic, 0-6, 6-4, 17-15 comeback.
* Played the dual season as UIC's #4 player, until the campaign was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
* Earned singles wins over Northern Illinois and Illinois State.
* Made select appearances in doubles play, partnering with Niko Wasilewicz in two matches.

2018-19:
* Qualified for ITA Regionals in both singles and doubles; won his first-round singles match at regionals.
* Spent most of the season at #5 singles before being promoted to #4 for the last month.
* Won four of seven matches at #4, as well as his lone match at #3 as part of a four-match winning streak.
* His 13 overall singles wins, and five conference wins, were both team highs.
* Earned a straight-sets win in the Horizon League championship match.
* Won six of seven matches from the beginning of conference play.
* With Kasper Parlklo, went 2-1 in the #2 doubles flight at the River Forest Collegiate Invitational.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Was a four-time state qualifier at Waubonsie Valley, and took fifth place in the state his senior year...earned All-State honors as a senior...made the All-Conference all-academic team each of his four years...led team to a sectional championship as a freshman, and was named team MVP his freshman and senior years...set the record for most wins in Waubonsie Valley history...in the summer between his senior year and beginning at UIC, was ranked in the Top 8 in the midwest by the USTA...enjoys hiking and snowboarding...son of Nancy and Dzung...majoring in Neuroscience.
