2022-23 (Redshirt Senior):

Paired with with Jai Vallurupalli at doubles three for majority of the season, sometimes doubling up with Gustavo Schwebel.
Went on a four-match win streak at the beginning of the season.
Secured the doubles point for UIC in tight match against DePaul.

2021-22 (Redshirt Junior):

Earned a straight-sets singles in over Eastern Illinois at the River Forest Invitational.
Played singles in five dual matches, across three flights.
Played in the majority of the Flames' dual matches in doubles competition, almost exclusively on the #1 court.
Split time playing with Francesco Tacconi and Gustavo Schwebel.
Won a conference doubles match against Youngstown State.

2020-21 (Redshirt Sophomore):

Made appearances in four different singles flights, beginning the season at #2 but playing the majority of his matches at #4.
Picked up his first singles win of the season against Chicago State, helping the Flames to a team win over the Cougars...closed the season with consecutive wins over two different IUPUI players in the #5 flight.
Teamed with Pelle Strandberg at #1 doubles for the majority of the season.

2019-20 (Redshirt Freshman):

Made his Flames debut at the River Forest Collegiate Invitational…earned the first singles and doubles wins of his career at that event.
Undefeated in doubles play, alongside Pelle Strandberg, at the WMU Vredevelt Invite, including two wins over Notre Dame teams.
Qualified for ITA Regionals in singles and doubles, where he won his singles consolation match.
Earned his first dual match singles win against Eastern Illinois.
Consistent #6 player in UIC's singles lineup all season, until the campaign was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

High School / Personal:

Won a national title at the age of 14.
Transferred to UIC after one year at Universidade Estacio de Sa in Brazil.
Brother Mario plays tennis at Michigan Tech.
Son of Mario Lucio and Edileni Dos Santos.
Majoring in Economics at UIC.
