UIC Athletics

2024-25 (Sophomore):

• Played a key role throughout the season, helping UIC achieve a 16-6 overall record and 7-3 in MAC play.
• Secured several straight-set victories, including a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles against Northern Illinois.
• Partnered with Simon Knezevic to win No. 3 doubles 6-1 against West Virginia Wesleyan, contributing to team sweeps.

• Competed in 16 matches for the Flames, competing primarily at the Nos. 5 and 6 singles positions and the Nos. 1 and 2 doubles positions. 
• Won two singles matches and six doubles matches in 2024. 
• Went 6-4 at the No. 1 doubles spot competing with Randy Wilson. 
• First collegiate singles victory came against North Dakota (Jan. 28).

• Grew up in Smederevska Palanka, Serbia
• Attended Sportska Gimnazija, Sports High School in Belgrade, Serbia.
• Ranked as high as No. 380 in the ITF junior rankings. Was constantly ranked as one of the top 10 players in Serbia from the age of 12 through senior rankings. 
• Parents are Ivana and Dejan Savic. 
• Integrated Health Studies major at UIC.
