2008-09: Placed third at the Redbird Classic Jan. 24 in the 800 meter run.

2007-08: Placed third in the 800-meter run with a season-best time of 2:00.21 at the Redbird Invitational on Jan. 19...ran a 1:58.48 in the 800-meter run to place 12th overall at the Chicagoland Championships on April 3.

Prep/Personal: Three-year letterwinner in track & field and a two-year letterwinner in soccer...helped the Wildcats win two SICA East conference championships and three sectional titles in track & field...led Thornton to an 8th place finish at the state championships in 2007...two-time conference 800-meter champion...sectional 800-meter champion...member of the four-time sectional champion 4x800-meter relay team...placed 7th in the 4x800-meter relay at the state finals...set a school record for most goals scored in a single season (28)...recorded the fastest time in the 800- and 400-meter run at Thornton...born Feb. 2, 1989...son of Angel and Irma Perez...majoring in education.
