Prior to UIC: Competed for Rend Lake College...was a 2nd-team All-American and was a Junior Olympic qualifier.

Prep/Personal: Three-year letter-winner in track and field for Waukegan...was an All-Conference selection and a state qualifier...son of Michelle Macias...born July 4, 1984...major is kinesiology.
