Coach Shawn Lucas on Kyle: "Kyle has a ton of natural speed that we saw come alive late in the season as he split 1:53 in the finals of the 4x800 at the 3A Illinois State Championships anchoring his team to a fifth-place finish.  Having experienced a year of cross country in high school, his range will continue to get better. He is a gifted athlete, which will serve him well during his transition to our training program and collegiate racing."
