AS A FRESHMAN (2007): Ran a season-best 8,000-meter run with a time of 26:38 at the Illinois Intercollegiate Invitational on Sept. 14...during the indoor season, posted a personal-best time of 9:17.99 in the 3,000-meter run at the Dick Pond Invitational on Feb. 9...finished fourth in the 1,500-meter run (4:15.48) at the Marquette Invitational on April 26...placed eighth overall in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:57.19 at the Iowa Invitational on April 19...turned in a ninth-place finish with a season-best time of 15:35.07 in the 5,000-meter run at the Horizon League Outdoor Championships on May 9.
