Biography

AS A SOPHOMORE (2019):  MIC Scholastic All-Conference...Competed in every meet on floor, and all but three on vault; made several additional appearances on bars...took first place on floor with a season high 9.875 Feb. 17 against Southeast Missouri...achieved that score again and tied for first March 3 against Lindenwood and Penn...had five additional scores of 9.800 on floor and five total top-five placements...posted her season high on vault with a 9.775 in the USAG Nationals Team Finals...scored 9.750 on bars twice.

AS A FRESHMAN (2018): Competed in all 13 meets of the season, completing the all-around in eight and performing on three of four apparatuses in the other five...named MIC Newcomer of the Week three times and Performance of the Week once as part of the Flames' bars squad...set a season high in the all-around (38.850) in the regular season finale against New Hampshire, placing second...highest finish on vault was third against Southeast Missouri, with a season high score of 9.750 which she matched one other time...achieved her season high of 9.775 on vault against UC Davis and West Virginia...tied for second on vault against SEMO...finished third and scored 9.800 on beam against Eastern Michigan, setting season bests in both categories...was fifth on floor against New Hampshire, and set her season high of 9.800 the following week at the MIC Championships...finished in the top 10 on floor seven times...was in the top four in the all-around seven times.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Competed at Level 10 Junior Olympic Nationals all four years of high school (2014-17), placing 10th all-around in 2016… Was crowned the 2016 Regional Beam, Floor and All-Around Champion and was also the 2017 Regional Vault, Beam, Floor and All-Around Champion… Trained at the Leading Edge Gymnastics Academy (LEGA) and attended Cascade High School, where she also participated in varsity diving her freshman and sophomore years… Has two siblings, Austin and Anna, and is the daughter of Lori and Mark Albrecht… Currently enrolled as a disability and human development major.
