AS A JUNIOR (2019): USAG Scholar-Athlete...beam specialist competed in every meet on balance beam...had a season high score of 9.775 Jan. 13 against Kent State, Centenary, and UW-Oskhosh...tied for second place in that meet...had eight top-10 finishes...scored 9.700 or higher in five straight meets in the middle of the season...finished strong with scores of 9.750 at the MIC Championships and the USAG National Semifinals, and 9.700 at the USAG National Finals.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2018): MIC Scholar Athlete...competed in all 13 meets on beam and floor...had her score dropped just once on each apparatus...scored 9.775 on beam, tying for fifth, and 9.700 on floor, good for seventh, against Eastern Michigan...posted another 9.700 on floor against Southeast Missouri...scored 9.700 on beam and floor against Illinois and Missouri...made it three straight meets with a 9.700 on floor against Michigan State...had season high scores on both events against Western Michigan, scoring 9.875 (t-2nd) on beam and 9.775 (t-7th) on floor...tied for fifth on beam at the MIC Championships with a 9.800...posted a 9.700 on floor at the conference meet.

AS A FRESHMAN (2017): Competed in all 12 meets on beam and floor… Placed fourth on beam with a career-high 9.775 against Western Michigan (Feb. 27) where she also recorded a 9.700 on floor… Tied for third on floor with a personal-best 9.800, while also tying for fourth on beam (9.725) against Rutgers (Feb. 20)… Earned a 9.775 on floor at the Illinois Classic (March 5), at Western Michigan (March 7) and at Oregon State (March 11)… Took home second on floor against Eastern Michigan (Feb. 5) with a 9.750… Grabbed a 9.700 on beam at Western Michigan. Recorded a 9.625 on beam at Utah (Jan. 20) and again against Eastern Michigan.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Lettered in gymnastics at Marian Catholic (Ill.) ... competed at the club level with Gym Kinetics ... 2016 national qualifier ... was a regional qualifier for six-consecutive seasons (2011-16) ... her best finish came in 2012 when she took third place in the all-around ... finished in seventh in the all-around in 2011 and 2016 ... was an eastern qualifier in 2011 and 2012, earning a fourth-place finish on beam in 2011 ... daughter of Francisco and M. Esmeralda Maciel ... currently enrolled as a Biology major.
