AS A SENIOR (2018-19): Was fourth in the 100 back and second in the 200 back to open the season against Indiana State...claimed sixth in the 100 back against Northwestern and Chicago...was in the top three in both backstroke races against Olivet Nazarene and Butler...took second in the 200 back and fifth in the 100 back against Oakland...finished in the top four in both events against Milwaukee...qualified for the finals in the 50, 100, and 200 back at the TYR Invitational...won the 200 back, and took fourth in the 100 back, against Cleveland State and IUPUI...won the 200 again, and finished second in the 100, against Green Bay...made the consolation finals in the 100 back at the Horizon League Championships, finishing 11th.
AS A JUNIOR (2017-18): Opened the season with third place finishes in the 100 back (1:00.44) and 200 back (2:09.53) against Indiana State...also swam backstroke on the third place 400 medley relay team...took third in the 200 back again, to go along with fifth in the 100 and third in the 200 medley relay against Green Bay and Valparaiso...finished in the top 10 in both individual backstroke races against Northwestern, Rutgers, and Chicago...took sixth in the 100 and third in the 200, while further cementing herself as the leadoff swimmer on the B-medley relay team, against Milwaukee...took sixth in the 100 and fourth in the 200, matching her season best time, against Oakland...took eighth in the 200 back at the TYR Invitational, where she also swam the 500 free for the first time...grabbed second and fourth place finishes in the 200 back on the two days of the Cleveland State/IUPUI meet...had two top-8 races in the 100 back...qualified for the consolation finals in the 200 back at the Horizon League Championships, finishing 13th (2:04.19)...also swam the 100 back and 500 free.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2016-17): Took ninth place in the 100 back (1:00.54), tenth in the 200 medley relay (1:53.74) and eleventh in the 200 back (2:10.30) at the triple dual meet with Olivet-Nazarene, Northwestern and the University of Chicago (Oct. 22)…placed sixth in the 200 free (2:03.06) against Boston College (Oct. 28)…finished sixth in the 200 back (2:08.00), eighth in the 400 medley relay (4:03.06), tenth in the 200 medley relay (1:54.76), eleventh in the 400 free relay (3:48.24) and twelfth in the 100 back (1:01.77) versus Oakland, Wright State and Green Bay (Nov. 4-5)…earned fourth place in the 200 back (2:09.19) and sixth place in the 200 free (2:05.39) at Milwaukee (Nov. 12)…notched a tenth place finish in the 200 back (2:03.59), twenty-third in the 100 back (58.43) and thirty-third in the 50 back (27.78) at the annual TYR Invitational hosted by Northwestern (Nov. 18-20)…captured a couple of second place finishes in the 100 back (1:00.00) and the 200 back (2:06.37) against Cleveland State (Jan. 14)…claimed fourth place in the 200 back (2:03.43), fifth in the 100 back (59.55) and sixth in the 400 medley relay (4:00.64) versus Olivet-Nazarene and Milwaukee at the Flames Invitational (Jan. 20-21)…placed third in the 200 back (2:03.59), fourteenth in the 100 back (57:38)and took twenty-fourth place in the 500 free (5:16.75) at the Horizon League Championships (Feb. 22-25).
AS A FRESHMAN (2015-16): Placed second in the 200 back (2:07.26) against Milwaukee (Nov. 7) … finished third in the 200 back (2:07.80) and fifth in the 100 back (1:00.67) at a double dual meet against Oakland and Wright State (Nov. 14) … captured fifth place in the 200 back (2:02.80) at the TYR Invitational (Nov. 20-22) … captured third place in the 200 back (2:10.64) and sixth in the 100 back (1:01.37) at Green Bay (Dec. 12) … collected the top spot in the 200 back (2:07.79) and third place in the 100 back (1:00.36) at Cleveland State (Jan. 15) … finished 10th in the 100 back (58.18) at the Horizon League Championships (Feb. 24-27).
PREP/PERSONAL: Was an All-Conference performer all four years...qualified for state in each season...team was conference champion her senior year...daughter of William Olsen and Jennifer Heyer-Olsen...her mother was an All-American at Michigan State...majoring in art history.
