AS A SOPHOMORE (2018-19): Took fourth place in the 200 fly in the season opener against Indiana State...was seventh in the 200 fly against Northwestern and Chicago...finished second in the 200 fly, and placed seventh in the 500 free, against Olivet Nazarene and Butler...was second in the 200 fly again, in addition to placing eighth in the 100, against Oakland...took fourth in the 200 against Milwaukee...swam third in the 200 against Green Bay.
AS A FRESHMAN (2017-18): Began her collegiate career with a fifth place finish in the 100 fly (1:01.09) and a third place showing in the 200 fly (2:12.82) against Indiana State...claimed second in the 200 fly and sixth in the 100 against Green Bay and Valparaiso...was a top-10 finisher in both butterfly races against Northwestern, Rutgers, and Chicago...finished in the top five in both events against Milwaukee...took sixth in the 100 fly (1:02.51) and fourth in the 200 fly (2:13.53) against Oakland...debuted in the 400 free relay which took sixth...swam both butterfly races and the 500 free (5:21.12) at the TYR Invitational...swam the 200 fly twice, taking seventh on day 1 and sixth on day 2 (2:14.85) at Cleveland State/IUPUI...swam both butterfly races as well as the 50 free at the Horizon League Championships.
PREP/PERSONAL: Member of three city championship teams and one runner-up during her four years...team placed second at sectionals all four years...set the City Championship record in the 500 free, 200 free, and 100 fly...was All-City in each of her four years, and All-Sectionals in three years...also played water polo, where she was an All-State honoree her senior year...daughter of Jose and Estela Rivera...majoring in biology.
