Grey Hoffman is in his first season as a graduate assistant coach at UIC, joining the Flames' staff in May 2025.
Prior to coming to Chicago, Hoffman was a student manager for the men's basketball program at Xavier University for three seasons from 2022-25, contributing to practice setup and film preparation. During his tenure with the Musketeers, Xavier made three postseason appearances, including two trips to the NCAA Tournament (highlighted by a berth in the 2023 NCAA Sweet Sixteen).
Originally from Barrington, Ill., Hoffman earned his bachelor's degree in May 2025 from Xavier's College of Professional Sciences. He is currently enrolled in graduate courses through UIC's Graduate College.Â
