Kimi Davis is set to enter her fourth season in the Fall of 2026 as an assistant coach on head coach Justin Ingram's coaching staff.
In 2025, Davis contributed to the Flames reaching a 17-10 record, going 11-5 against the Missouri Valley Conference, leading to UIC hosting it's first ever MVC playoff match at home against Illinois State on Nov. 19.
In 2024, Davis played a role in UIC's push to the MVC Championship match birth, as the Flames finished 23-10 overall, with a 13-5 record in conference play.
In 2023, Davis served as an interim assistant coach, helping UIC make it's third consecutive appearance in the MVC tournament semifinals, with the team finishing up 21-12 overall, going 11-7 against The Valley.
Prior to her time at UIC, Davis spent time coaching in both club and the high school level. From 2017-2023, Davis was the head of coach of the 11U-18U Boys and Girls Volleyball team. From 2020-2023, Davis was the head coach of the ninth grade volleyball team in Rogers Heritage High School, both teams based in Arkansas.
The Rogers, Ark. native was a three-year starter at Rogers High School, amassing over 1,500 digs during her prep career. As a sophomore, she set the school record with 634 digs the 2012 season. She was a two-time team Most Valuable Player and added 7A All-State accolades during her senior year.
Davis was a member of the Arkansas Razorbacks for the 2015 season, where she competed in 36 sets over 13 matches, including appearances in the final seven matches of the season. She collected six digs in the season finale against No.19 Texas A&M.
