UIC Athletics

Vanessa Serrano was named UIC Athletics Human Resources Representative in September 2024. In her current position, she oversees student hiring and onboarding, assists with initiating and managing selected hiring procedures, and serves as the point of contact within the UIC Department of Athletics for daily human resources questions and assistance. 
 
Prior to her new role, Serrano spent two years on the UIC athletics administrative staff, working primarily in a public-facing role as the main desk attendant at the Flames Athletic Center.
