CHICAGO – UIC head women's soccer coach Brian Rigby announced the recruiting class for the upcoming 2018 season on Tuesday. The Flames will add a group of 10 that features two goalkeepers, two forwards, three midfielders and three defenders.
 
The newcomers include: Megan Bowman (Glen Carbon, Ill./Edawrdsville/SLSG ECNL), Annie Brown (Fairview Heights, Ill./Belleville East/SLSG ECNL), Faith Davies (Lombard, Ill./Glenbard East/Synergy), Chiara Ferraro (Vaughan, Ontario, Canada/St. Theresa of Lisieux Catholic/Vaughan Azzuri), Emily Kavanaugh (South Riding, Va./Paul VI Catholic/McClean ECNL), Haley Leanna (Grayslake, Ill./Grayslake North/Eclipse Select ECNL), Kaitlyn Mauder (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield North/Chicago Inter), Kennedy Messina (Shorewood, Ill./Minooka Community/NSA), Bridget Paulon (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Bloomfield Hills/Nationals) and Shayne Schoenfelder (Elk River, Minn./Elk River/Minnesota Thunder ECNL).
