Feb. 13, 2000 - UIC dropped the rubber outing of its three-game series with Arkansas-Little Rock this afternoon, 21-7, to put its overall record at 1-2 early in the 2000 campaign.

The Flames earned a win over the Trojans, 5-2, on Friday as they rallied for three runs in the top of the ninth, but then stumbled Saturday afternoon in a 13-7 loss.

Earlier today, Arkansas-Little Rock wasted no time in securing a comfortable lead as it tallied eight runs in the bottom of the first, one run in the second and then added a seven spot in the third.

Rookie J.P. Moran turned in a 3-for-5 showing at the plate this afternoon with three runs scored while Bob Rosinski went 2-for-4 to lead UIC.
