Box Score

CHICAGO (AP) - Joel Bullock scored 17 points and added a team-high 10 rebounds Thursday night in leading the UIC men's basketball team to a 77-65 win over Wright State.

The Flames (11-15, 5-8 Midwestern Collegiate Conference) jumped out to a 13-6 lead and stayed ahead the rest of the way. Wright State (16-10, 7-6 Midwestern Collegiate Conference) trailed 44-27 at halftime, but trimmed the margin to 68-60. That's as close as they would get, however, down the stretch.

Cory Little, Maurice Brown and Jon-Pierre Mitchom each scored 14 points to spark the Flames.

Wright State, which shot 15-of-29 in the second half, was led by Jesse Deister with 14 points and Israel Sheinfeld had 12. The Raiders shot 46 percent from the field while UIC converted only 37 percent. But the Flames were 30-of-45 from the foul line while Wright State was only 8-of-11.
