Colorado Springs, Colorado - The University of Illinois at Chicago volleyball team capped off their doubleheader on Friday with a four-game victory (25-20, 30-26, 30-22, 30-26) over Air Force at the Air Force Invitational.

Senior outside hitter Vicki Lublow (Elgin, Ill./Elgin-Larkin) propelled the UIC attack with 17 kills and 16 digs. Lublow was equally proficient from the serving line as she recorded four service aces.

UIC (3-2) also received solid performances from Teaha Shepperd (16 kills, 13 digs), Gina Caneva (11 kills, 2 blocks), Lara Clarkson (10 kills, 8 digs) and Dawn Strahanoski (49 assists).

The Flames will be back in action on Saturday as they will square off with Southeastern Louisiana at 5:30 p.m. CST.
