Chicago, Ill. - The UIC women's tennis team rebounded after a road loss on Friday at Western Michigan to defeat visiting Bowling Green State, 5-2, at the Hyde Park Tennis Club on Saturday afternoon.
Nicole Derouin, Corey Steven, Molly Smith and Zorica Malesevic each picked-up singles wins for the Flames, while UIC swept the doubles competition.
Derouin defeated Alyson Gabel in the No.1 slot, 6-1, 6-1, while Steven knocked off Gaby Coello in the third singles spot.
Athanasia Giannoulopoulou added an exhibition win for the Flames in singles play.
