Chicago, Ill. - The UIC women's tennis squad leaped back into Horizon League play on Sunday and didn't lose a step.

The Flames blanked Wright State, 7-0, at the Hyde Park Tennis Club.

Nicole Derouin, Corey Steven, Zvjezdana Malesevic and Zorica Malesevic each won their singles matches in straight sets, while Ayca Gumuscu and Molly Smith also earned singles wins on the day.

UIC took the doubles matches by a combined score of 24-8, with Derouin and Steven teaming at No.1, Gumuscu and Smith in the second slot and Zvjezdana Malesevic and Athanasia Giannoulopoulou winning in the third slot.

The Flames head to Spring Break in Miami, Florida where they will train and take on Wisconsin on Thursday, March 20 at 10:00 a.m.
