Chicago, Ill. - Detroit held the University of Illinois at Chicago women's basketball team to 10 points in the first half, cruising to the 61-47 Horizon League victory at the UIC Pavilion on Saturday afternoon.
Detroit guard Lindsey Pasquinzo led three-different Titans in double-digits with 13 points, followed by Caitie Goddard (12 points) and Sara Crum (11 points).
With the victory, Detroit improves to 10-9 overall and 7-2 in Horizon League action, while the Flames fall to 8-12 on the campaign and 3-7 in conference play.
Freshman guard Krystal Hugelier tallied all 14 of her points, including three treys, in the second-half to lead the UIC attack, while teammate Amber Washington added a career-high 12 points for the Flames.
The Flames will be back in action on Wednesday evening, as they will host cross-town rival, Loyola, at 7:00 p.m. in the UIC Pavilion.
