Chicago, Ill. - The UIC men's basketball team concludes a stretch of four games in eight days on Saturday afternoon as the Flames play host to in-state rival Illinois State at the UIC Pavilion at 2 p.m. UIC is undefeated at home this season (4-0) and looking for their fifth straight win over the Redbirds.

The Flames enter Saturday's matinee on the heels of road losses at Ole Miss and Penn and own a 6-7 overall record this season.

Junior Othyus Jeffers had a monster outing for UIC in its contest with the Quakers, tallying a double-double with career best totals of 27 points and 14 rebounds. The 6-foot-5 forward currently leads the team and ranks in the top 10 in the Horizon League in scoring (16.1 ppg), rebounding (8.8 rpg), field goal percentage (.510) and steals (1.8 spg).

19 win over Lewis at Redbird Arena. ISU has four players scoring in double figures, led by junior college transfers Dominitrix Johnson and Boo Richardson, who both average 11.8 points per game.

Johnson was a teammate of UIC's Jermaine Dailey at Three River Community College in Missouri.

The Flames have won the last four meetings in the series with Illinois State, including a 60-56 triumph at Redbird Arena on Nov. 30, 2004. ISU has not beaten UIC at the Pavilion since the 1986-87 season.
