Bowling Green, Ohio- Despite sweeping the doubles point for the second time on Sunday, the UIC women's tennis team was unable to pick up their second dual match win of the day as the Flames fell to Bowling Green, 6-1.
UIC (2-5) posted a stellar doubles performance against a strong BGSU squad, coming away with victories in all three matches.
But the Flames, who drove in from a match in Detroit held earlier in the day, could not maintain the energy in the singles side of action. The Falcons (6-4) won all six matches to run their dual match victory streak to four.
UIC heads back on the road next Saturday for a match at UW-Milwaukee.
