Fullerton, Calif.- The UIC women's tennis team had their three-match winning streak snapped on Saturday, as host Cal State Fullerton downed the Flames by a 6-1 tally at the Titan Tennis Courts.
UIC (7-7) received a two-set singles win from Christina Oum, who also teamed with Iris Jaklin at No. 2 doubles to pick up a hard-fought 8-7 win over Chip Dunbar and Shelly Injejikian that came down to a hotly-contested tiebreaker.
The UIC women's tennis team resumes its California road trip on Monday against Cal State Northridge.
