Shreveport, La.- Annie Kachman's all-around victory and a sweep of the individual event titles lifted the UIC women's gymnastics team to its second consecutive victory over Midwest Independent rival Centenary at the Gold Dome on Sunday.
The Flames posted a 191.950 to defeat the Ladies (190.475) and pick up their third consecutive victory.
Kachman turned in an all-around tally of 39.025 to win the overall crown. She shared the vault title with teammate Beth Kliver, as both posted consecutive scores of 9.85.
On bars Zandre Labuschagne took first place with a 9.825.
Jessie Jaworowicz won the beam event with a 9.8, while Rachael Zelinski turned in a 9.75 on floor for the victory.
The Flames return home to face 16th-ranked Auburn on Sunday, March 11th at the Physical Education Building beginning at 2:00 p.m.
