Chicago, Ill.- UIC Athletics and UIC Campus Recreation are teaming up next Wednesday, September 5 and next Thursday, September 6 to sponsor a blood drive to benefit the University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago Blood Bank.

The blood drive will run from 11:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. on both days. The event will take place in room 134 of the new Student Recreation Facility at 737 S. Halsted.

Anyone who donates blood or attempts to donate blood will receive a Flames promotional item and a free one-day guest pass to the Student Recreation Facility, which houses 18,000 square feet of exercise equipment, a three-lane jogging track, a climbing wall, a pool, four basketball courts, and much more.

Walk-ins are welcome.
