Chicago, Ill.- The UIC men's basketball team puts a 10-game home unbeaten streak on the line against Horizon League rival Wright State at the UIC Pavilion this Thursday night.

Tip between the Flames (9-7, 3-2 Horizon League) and the defending league champion Raiders (9-6, 2-4 Horizon League) takes place at 7:00 p.m.

Adam Levinson and Kenny McReynolds will call the action live on WIND 560 AM.

The game will also be streamed live online via the Horizon League Network at horizonleaguenetwork.tv.

Benny the Bull, the famed mascot for the Chicago Bulls, will be on hand to provide halftime entertainment.

UIC is a perfect 7-0 at the Pavilion this season and owns a 10-game winning streak dating back to last season. The Flames are winning their home games by an average margin of 17.3 points per victory and average over 10 more points at home (81.9 ppg) than their season average (71.4 ppg).

The Flames enter Thursday's game following an exciting 78-68 double-overtime victory over crosstown rival Loyola last Saturday. Josh Mayo scored a team-leading 20 points, while seven-foot, 260-pound center Scott VanderMeer proved to be an ironman by playing 46 out of a possible 50 minutes.

VanderMeer had a double-double of 13 points and a career-high 15 rebounds to go with four blocked shots against the Ramblers.

Mayo is averaging a team-best 18.0 ppg and leads the nation in three-point field goal percentage (53.9 percent).

As a team the Flames are shooting 42.6 percent from downtown, the fourth-best clip in the NCAA Division I rankings released earlier this week.

UIC owns a 20-14 advantage in its series against Wright State, including a 15-2 lead in games played between the two teams at the Pavilion.

Wright State is led by sophomore guard Todd Brown's 15.5 ppg. Brown is one of four Raiders to average in double-digit scoring.
