UIC Men's Basketball Game Notes in PDF Format 
Chicago, Ill.- The UIC men's basketball team opens a two-game Horizon League stretch through Indiana this Thursday, as the Flames take on Valparaiso at the Athletics-Recreation Center in Valparaiso, Ind. at 7:00 p.m. Central.
Flames fans can hear Adam Levinson and Kenny McReynolds call the action live on WIND 560 AM. The game will also be broadcast live on Lakeshore Public Television and webcast on the Horizon League Network.
Thursday is a critical clash between the Flames (10-8, 4-3 Horizon League) and the Crusaders (13-6, 4-3 Horizon League) in the race for a top seed in the Horizon League Tournament.
The Flames will bring the nation's top three-point shooting squad into the Crusaders' gym. UIC leads all NCAA Division I men's basketball teams in three-point field goal percentage at 43.8 percent.
Pacing UIC's long-range charge is junior guard Josh Mayo, who leads the country for the second consecutive week in three-point accuracy at 55.4 percent.
The game is the first meeting between the two schools since the 1997-98 campaign. UIC owns a 26-8 advantage in the series against Valparaiso.
The Flames will conclude their Indiana tour at No. 14/15 Butler this Saturday.
