Milwaukee, Wis.- Matt Spiess' goal in the 56th minute was all the 16th-ranked UIC men's soccer team needed to clinch a 1-0 road victory over Milwaukee at Engelmann Field on Saturday night.

Goalkeeper Jovan Bubonja recorded his 30th career shutout as the Flames (10-2-4, 4-1-1 Horizon League) ran their unbeaten streak against the Panthers (4-8-5, 1-4-2 Horizon League) to seven matches, going 5-0-2 versus Milwaukee since 2003.

After Spiess settled a clearance attempt by a Panther defender, the UIC forward unleashed a shot from 18 yards out toward the far post that hugged net for the decisive goal.

Spiess has scored all three of UIC's goals in the last two matches.

UIC takes on Valparaiso in Valparaiso, Ind. on Friday, Oct. 31 at 3 p.m.
