Chicago, Ill.- UIC men's basketball season ticket holders got a glimpse of the 2008-09 Flames at the 2008 UIC Men's Basketball Pancake Breakfast & Scrimmage held inside the Flames Athletic Center on Saturday, Oct. 25.
Season ticket holders were treated to "the most important meal of the day" by Connie's Pizza, with freshly-made pancakes, breakfast meats and Connie's very own breakfast pizza highlighting the menu.
UIC head coach Jimmy Collins engaged his team in drills prior to a five-on-five scrimmage that allowed Flames fans to see Preseason All-Horizon League stars Josh Mayo and Scott VanderMeer back in action while getting their first look at UIC's talented crop of newcomers.
The Flames will play at the new-look UIC Pavilion for the first time on Tuesday, Nov. 11 in an exhibition game against Aurora at 8 p.m.
