Milwaukee, Wis.- The UIC men's basketball team concludes the 2007-08 regular season with a lot on the line this Saturday night against Milwaukee at U.S. Cellular Arena.

The Flames (15-14, 8-9 Horizon League) and the Panthers (14-14, 9-8 Horizon League) tip at 7 p.m. Adam Levinson and Kenny McReynolds will bring the call to the airwaves live on WIND 560 AM.

UIC needs to win Saturday's contest against Milwaukee in order to secure a home game in the Horizon League Tournament this Tuesday. A loss would put the Flames in seventh place in the league standings and on the road in the first round against either Green Bay or Valparaiso, depending on what happens in other league contests on Saturday.

The Flames can finish with a seed as high as fourth with a victory.

UIC has suffered three consecutive heartbreaking league losses in the final minute of each game. The Flames have either led or been tied with under 60 seconds remaining in regulation before suffering a defeat in the final moments against its last three conference foes.

A win over the Panthers, a team the Flames have defeated three consecutive times dating back to last season, would also give UIC its first regular season series sweep of Milwaukee since 1997-98.

Josh Mayo continues to pace UIC's offensive attack with 17.8 points per game, while Jermaine Dailey has been the Flames' spark plug in the paint of late by averaging 7.8 points and 5.8 rebounds in his last five games. Dailey had a double-double with career highs of 14 points and 12 boards on Thursday at Green Bay.
